Gatherings

We could talk non-stop about community, but unless we take some action--unless we actually get together--then talk is all it can ever be. When God calls us to behave like a community that means we've got to do stuff together. Scratch that... we get to do stuff together.

Home Fellowship Network - The Core aims to build a whole network of small Home Fellowships. Each one would be run autonomously, deciding for itself when and where to meet, and in general how to go about fulfilling their purpose as a local body of believers. Each would have its own pastor, which need not have any theological education--only a call from God and the go-ahead from The Core leadership.

The Core Worship Gatherings - Although smallness is good, it's also very important to bring larger groups of believers together with some regularity, for encouragement and celebration. That's why we have a our Sunday Morning Worship Gatherings.

Men's Group Meetings - Michael "Mik" Mikulan is now leading a men's group to bring guys together in authentic and accepting environment, to connect with God and with one another.

Other Gatherings - If The Core doesn't offer something that fits you, start it yourself! E-mail Ryan to explore the opportunities for organizing a gathering of people of similar age, interests, gender, profession, etc.
